Our History
Jamifocus Welfare Organization was born out of a passionate desire to transform lives and uplift communities in Kenya through practical, people-driven solutions. Founded in 2022 .Jamifocus emerged in response to the growing challenges faced by families in accessing education, financial empowerment, healthcare, and dignified social welfare.
Starting as a small self-help group in kayole , Nairobi county. Our journey began with a handful of like-minded individuals pooling resources to help vulnerable children go to school and support widows and youth with income-generating opportunities. With the success of these early efforts, the need to formalize and scale up our mission became clear.
In 2025 march 23, Jamifocus Welfare Organization was officially registered under the Societies Act (Cap 108)of Kenya, gaining legal recognition and the ability to operate as a structured, non-profit welfare institution. This milestone marked the beginning of a new chapter—expanding our programs, setting up operational offices, and recruiting passionate field agents across Migori and neighboring regions.
Our model integrates education support, economic empowerment, funeral cover, social protection services, and community outreach — with a strong emphasis on transparency, dignity, and impact. We now serve hundreds of clients, families, and businesses, while empowering our team of agents, volunteers, and staff who make our vision possible.
As we continue to grow, our commitment remains rooted in our founding mission: Empowering Lives — one person, one family, one community at a time.
Organizational Structure

- Executive Director: Leads program implementation, operational management, and stakeholder engagement.

Operational Structure: Programs are implemented at the community level through field officers, support staff, and community volunteers, ensuring strong grassroots engagement and ownership.
